THE hamlet of Rydal is a mixed community covering a wide spectrum of age groups and backgrounds, including employed, self employed and retired people.
There are no shops in the village and, because of its unchanging nature; freeholders and tenants who have chosen to live here would wish to preserve the unique character of the area.
The Village Society is open to residents of Rydal with an active commitment to the village, and this guide has been produced for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.
